  • The EFD341 Easy Fade High Resolution Video Seamless Switcher/Scaler with Audio from Analog Way is a device that combines the functions of a high-resolution video scaler with an audio-video switcher. It can also act as a line multiplier, significantly increasing video image resolution and brightness.
  • The unit includes (3) computer inputs for direct display of your presentations or internet applications. It features (4) video inputs. Frame can be acquired from any video input or downloaded from a computer via RS-232 or optional IP connection. It also offers a non-volatile memory.
  • Two switching modes are available: seamless or smooth. In seamless mode the computer output format is identical to the computer input selected as the reference signal. This mode makes it possible to switch with a seamless cut between the PC and any video source.
  • A decoder with an advanced comb filter allows for natural looking color processing, highly robust sync detection, and 3D auto-adaptive de-interlacing scheme. Adjustment controls are included for parameters such as contrast, color, aspect ratio, and sharpness. Moreover, these parameters can be stored for each video input. The unit can be controlled via its front panel or RS-232 connectivity. A second COM port is also included to start or stop distant display device according to the Easy Fade‘s status.

Barco DCS-100 Dual Channel Switcher

The DCS-100 Dual Channel Switcher from Barco is a dual channel switcher designed to provide seamless switching between different input sources. This model accepts universal analog and DVI input sources and outputs video simultaneously in DVI and analog formats. The switcher is well suited for use in live events, company boardrooms, houses of worship, and educational facilities, among many other possible uses.

Inputs support resolutions from NTSC and PAL up to UXGA, including all HD resolutions. Output supports resolutions from 480p up to UXGA, including all HD resolutions. The switcher also supports HDCP compatible projectors and includes a built-in test pattern to simplify projector alignment.

The unit can store up to (3) images that can be used as logos in presentations. DVI inputs can also be used as a luminance keying source, which allows for titling and lower-third key applications. Moreover, input sources can seamlessly transition under the DVI key. The switcher also features auto-acquire and auto-positioning functionality, as well as 10-bit sampling and internal processing & scaling.
