Knox Video DC-100 Down Converter

Knox Video Technologies DC-100 Down Converter – 1xComputer or RGB input, 2xSV out, 2xCV out

The Knox Video DC-100 Down Converter is designed to provide scan conversion from computer or HDTV signals to standard video formats. It accepts any computer resolution up to 2048 x 2048 at any vertical refresh rate and all HDTV signals up to 1080p. It will also accommodate most computer signal formats, including PC and Mac signals. This converter also features the proprietary CORIO2 video-processing engine, a firmware-based solution that ensures that this product can always be upgraded by simply downloading updates from the vendor web site.

Video output is selectable between NTSC and PAL standards. Moreover, this device provides simultaneous output of composite and S-video signals. A PC loop through is also included. This unit automatically sizes and positions the computer image to fit exactly on any video screen. Other features include variable zoom to 10X, variable shrink to as little as 10%, flicker-elimination circuitry, high sampling rates, and full-bandwidth chroma sampling.

All settings are stored in non-volatile memory and are retained even when the unit is powered down. Control options include front-panel pushbuttons, IR remote control, or RS-232 connectivity. A Windows-based control panel is also provided and the converter is compatible with most third-party control systems. This unit is housed in a small desktop case that can be mounted in a rack by using a separately available rackmount kit.

Computer or HDTV to Standard Video Conversion -
This unit will down-convert any computer resolution up to 2048 x 2048 at any vertical refresh rate and all HDTV signals up to 1080p to standard video output.
