Altinex Tilt n Plug Jr.

The Tilt ‘N Plug Jr. model, the TNP451 contains a standard AC power outlet compatible with South Africa power systems, and it is designed for installation into a table in a presentation system. The TNP451 provides access to computer video, audio, network, telephone and AC power connections when needed, and stores them neatly when not needed.

The input plate on the TNP451 is accessed by pushing down on the top panel, releasing the pneumatic spring inside, tilting the input plate into view. Once opened, the input plate remains securely in place. Pressing down on the top panel closes the lid allowing the top panel to lie flush with the tabletop.

The TNP451 provides a single input plate with Computer Video (15pin HD), Computer Audio (3.5mm Stereo jack), and Network (RJ45) input connections. The unit can also be customized with different connections and colors. To do so, click the link shown above.

The network signals are passed through the unit with connection to the network system being made under the table. No signal processing or buffering takes place.

All Tilt’ N Plug Jrproducts belong to a family of compact interconnection solutions designed for installation into a table as part of a presentation system. They are designed for mounting into a table, podium, or other furniture to provide a way of connecting audiovisual equipment on top of the furniture to a presentation system below the furniture. All use the same core element; a multimedia input plate that can be “tilted’ open when needed and pushed closed when not needed.

All signals pass through the input plate directly to cables on the underside of the table with no intervening circuitry. The use of additional ALTINEX Signal Management Solutions such as computer video interfaces, distribution amplifiers, and switchers may be desirable.

The input plate of the Tilt’N Plug Jr. is accessible by pushing down on the top cover. The unit then auto-tilts open with help from an internal pneumatic spring. Once open, the input plate remains securely in place. The input plate is hidden by pressing down on the top cover until the latching mechanism engages. In its closed position, the top panel lies flush with the table’s top, held in place by the latching mechanism.

The TNP125 provides a single input plate with HDMI, USB-A, network (RJ-45 F-M), and computer/MP3 audio (3.5mm F-M) input connections in 6ft (2m) lengths. It also provides an AC Power connection in 9-10ft (2.7-3.0m) suitable for use throughout the U.S. and Canada.

All Tilt’ N Plug Jr. Signal Management Solutions come with a standard top and bezel offering a high quality matte black finish. The unit can also be customized with different connections and colors. To do so, click the link shown above.

Altinex CP452-009

In-Wall MultiTouch Panel, 8.9 Widescreen Monitor

•Powered by an external 12V universal power adapter
•RS-232 and network connections available
•Windows XP embedded
•Operated with user-friendly AVSnap® software
•Simple to configure
•Available with White, Black or Silver bezel

Overview
The Altinex CP452-009 is an 8.9″ diagonal in-wall touch screen controller. It is ideal for a wide variety of control applications.

The CP452 touch screen controller is specifically designed for in-wall installations. It is ideal for a wide variety of control applications. Each controller is a computer running Windows XP Embedded that includes these key features:

•Touch Screen
•Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN)
•COM port and 2 LAN ports
•4 USB ports
•AVSnap™ Professional AV System Integration Tool

The CP452 panel senses “touch” from a finger, stylus, pen, pencil, gloved finger, or other tool. The touch screen is very accurate and responsive to the operator’s input. The CP452 incorporates effortlessly into any AV system.

The COM port can control virtually any serial device using standard RS-232 communication. The two LAN ports allow connectivity to a local area network or a direct connection to another TCP/IP device. For added flexibility, consider the ALTINEX AC301-201 TCP/IP to RS-232 Adapter. This adapter allows RS-232 communication through a standard LAN connection.

The AC301-201 has both serial (DB9) and network (RJ-45) connections. The AC301-201 connects to a serial device using its DB9 connection, and to the LAN using standard network cable. AVSnap, or other RS-232 communication software can then be used to control the serial device using the IP address of the adapter in place of the COM port. In this way, a single controller can be used to control any number of serial devices using their unique IP address.

The CP452 is designed for in-wall mounting. Paper template is provided for accurate installation cut-out. Simple blind screws provide hustle free installation.

AVSnap software installed on CP452 provides a complete design environment for developing simple to sophisticated graphical user interfaces (GUIs). AVSnap is pre installed on each CP452 making it easy to integrate into any control environment. Design high-quality GUIs with minimum effort by way of user-friendly toolbars for buttons, volume controls, progress bars, and much more. AVSnap incorporates a simple programming language with an organized interface that makes even complex programming code easy to read and maintain.

Everything needed to start is included in a sample application. Use the predefined procedures and functions to communicate with devices over RS-232 or LAN, or create your own custom subroutines. If you can program Crestron or AMX, you can program AVSnap.

Altinex MX430-101 8×8 HDMI Matrix switcher

Free ground shipping through 9/30/10.

The Altinex MX430-101 is an 8×8 HDMI Matrix Switcher, supporting HDMI V1.3 and HDCP V1.1 for content protection. This switcher has 8 inputs. Any input can be simultaneously distributed to any one output, all eight outputs, or any combination of outputs with little to no signal degredation.

Control. Using standard RS-232 or Infra-Red, optical or digital, the MX430-101 can be controlled through an external source or through the unit’s front panel. The MX430-101 utilizes the standard Altinex serial protocol similar to all other MultiTasker products. Front panel control includes six programmable “snap-shot” configurations.

The Altinex MX430-101 provides two methods of identifying monitor resolutions. In TV Mode, the MX430-101 connects the input with the first HDMI recognized output starting at Output 1 through Output 4. In Standard Mode, the MX430-101 pulls EDID resolutions from an internal table.

Content Protection. Fully HDCP compliant, the MX430-101 provides individual key management on each output.

Cabling. The MX430-101 regenerates each outbound signal. This is important when signals are distributed from the matrix a significant distance. Altinex recommends not exceeding 33 ft on the input or output of the MX430-101.

Additional Altinex MX series options.

ALTINEX MT105-121 VGA-UXGA Video Matrix Switcher

The MT105-120/121 are VGA-UXGA Video Matrix Switcher Cards designed to switch high bandwidth RGBHV video signals. The MT105-120 card has eight inputs and eight outputs with 15-pin HD connectors. The MT105-121 card has eight fixed inputs and four fixed outputs, also with 15-pin HD connectors.

Both cards provide signal detection on input and output through horizontal sync. This feature allows for easy remote diagnostics throughout RS- 232 commands, from the source all the way to the output connectors.

The MT105-120/121 provides an economical application due to the space saving design using D-connectors instead of BNC connectors.

Inputs are switched to outputs through easy-to-use ASCII commands from a control system or computer connected to the RS-232 port of the MultiTasker enclosure. Both cards allow disabling of video outputs through RS-232 commands. Inputs and outputs may be programmed in batches and switched all at the same time with a single command.

A special feature of the Altinex MT105-120/121 is Sync Delay which eliminates the appearance of video signals before the display device is able to process the sync signals and properly format the video image.  The Sync Delay is the amount of time to wait after switching the Horizontal and Vertical Sync signals and before switching the RGB signals.  Each output may be programmed with a delay ranging from zero to 24.75 seconds, in increments of 250mS.
